This week in LizzIFE: v. Christmas Wrap-up
Ya, that’s right – CHRISTMAS.
Easter’s got the bunny, Halloween, the Great Pumpkin. Thanksgiving has pilgrims and stuff… Groundhog Day has Bill Murray (I know I’m reaching here – bear with me).
Last year, my Christmas hero was VisaClause, but in 2010 it was back to the big guy: Kris Kringle, St. Nick, Sinterklass, Lil’ Jon, AYEAHYEAHHH!
King of the Jews vs King of the elves. Who would take that fight? Anyone want to bet now in case it ever goes down?
I used to think Santa was retired winter-Jesus. Part of me still does.
Anyhoo, it’s been an Santariffic season to be sure.
Here we go, a very Christmassy THIS WEEK (and a half) in LIZZIFE:
Santarchy 2010 [Toronto]. So many Santas. So much cheer. I covered this for the vitaminwater canada blog and made a viddy too. I got to interview a HUGE celebrity.
Heard of a little guy called RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER? Yeah. Kind of a big deal.
2. Electric Christmas 2 at the Horseshoe Tavern saw me put the “Ho” in “Ho Ho Ho”.
Just don’t judge my lame dancing.
Skanking it out for charity is legit, right? You see me in less at the beach. Deal with it.
The CosmoTV Blogger girl’s Letter to Santa. Read it here.
Home again, home again, skippity skop:
Before we left the city on Thursday, Seany and I exchanged gifts and I got some very exciting things – like a spa certificate and some new PJs and a bunch of girlie things like that – plus tickets to see one of my favourite bands when they come to town in late January. Can’t. Effing. WAIT. Trust, I’ll be blogging all aboot that.
Jayyykay. I’m not seeing S-Club. Are they still touring though? Because I totally would.
It took me about 6 hours to get home after that (YAY TRAFFIC), but I made it back in time for a wee bit of hometown hilarity. I didn’t go out and party myself, but I did get a chance to walk through a packed nightclub in my pajamas. Long story. Not one for the blog. Funny adventure though.
The next day, I picked up a last-minute Christmas gift for my mom:
Heh heh heh…
She hated it so much, and we all laughed at that.
I got her some real gifts too, just so you know. I’m not that big of a jerk.) We coaxed Mommy to drink out of her new chalice for the rest of the night and the next day too… and on boxing day when the extended family came over. Bwahahaha. I have some great photos of this on the big camera. They’ll be up in Flickr later.
I got lots of dope stuff for Christmas from my parents, but I’m not going to brag about that in case you’re poor and didn’t get any gifts because that would be mean. Plus, I haven’t imported the pictures from my camera yet
It’s been like, party after party after huge meal after shindig all week long. Lots of travel, friends and fun.
The play by play isn’t as important as the fact that I’m actually living, so let’s leave it at that. One of my New Years Resolutions: Less reflecting, more chillaxing. You’re only young once.
And on that note, instead of blogging about my day I am going to Yoga now. I haven’t been keeping up with my practice and I want to get back to that.
